Barney has been REHOMED.
Barney is a sweet little fellow, who has progressed so well from the shut down terrified dog he was when he was initially rescued from kennels. He can still be shy on first meetings but once he gets to know you he is very loving, and he particularly enjoys male company. Clearly having never been walked on a lead previously he has taken to it really well and really enjoys his outings, although he would benefit from some confidence building in new situations. Barney is clean in the house, and enjoys his home comforts and deserves nothing less than a loving home and comfy lap of his own.
Barney enjoys the company of other dogs so is looking for a home with at least one, but preferably a couple of other female dogs, he is be fine to be left for a few hours in their company and he can happily be rehomed with cats too. Although he gets on fine with them Barney would prefer a quieter home without young children. Barney had shut down in kennels where he was cared for originally, therefore we are looking for a home that will never subject him to being kennelled again.
Barney is approximately 5 years old, neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated, and is being fostered near Deal, Kent.
