Gracie: Lhasa Apso

Gracie has been REHOMED.

After a poor start to life Gracie is enjoying her new found freedom, she really is a lovely natured girl, although she can still be timid in new circumstances and with new people, but has slowly been learning how to play and be a proper dog in her foster home. She is proving to be an affectionate girl and is enjoying her home comforts, she adores a good belly rub, and is already fully housetrained and knows her basic commands, she’s a clever girl but then she likes her food so is easy to train when there are treats about!

Having never been walked on lead before, Gracie is taking it slowly with her lead training and this will need to be continued in her new home, she is also not used to the car which can make her sick, so car training will need to be continued. She is used to being with other dogs, so she must be homed where there is at least one other (preferably more than one) resident confident dog in a home, and where someone is around for most of the day, although she will be happy to be left for a few hours in the company of other dogs.

Please note that this breed does require regular grooming, so make sure you take these costs into consideration before submitting an application.

Gracie is 6 years old, neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated.

If you are interested in offering Gracie a home, and you have resident dogs already, please complete our online Adoption Form.

All home offers will be subject to vetting and a home visit, and an adoption agreement and donation are required.
