Lemon has been REHOMED.
Please say hello to Lemon, a very loving soul who gazes at you adoringly to get extra attention, which is pretty hard to resist as she has the most expressive eyes! She has a marvellous temperament and is very happy going for lead walks, and does the whole beagle head down and sniff everything as she goes. She travels well in a crate in the car, especially if she has just had a quick walk first, eats nicely and uses her crate at home as a den. At night, she settles quickly and is happy to sleep with other dogs, or tucks herself up in her den, and she really loves a cuddle on the sofa and a good head rub.
Previously used for breeding, Lemon has adapted to living in a family home so well it’s hard to imagine she hasn’t been here forever, at just 3 years old, she is fast learning basic commands, house training is pretty much there and she is learning to play with other dogs and toys. Lemon would be an ideal dog to train for agility or Cani-x running, as well as continuing her obedience training and general activities. She has enjoyed being with the various sized dogs in her foster home and has been respectful of the dog savvy cat and not chased her, she even ignores the chickens and walks past other dogs on lead with no reaction – normally because she’s so busy sniffing the ground! She can be homed with school aged children.
Lemon, so-called because of her unusual very pale colouring, is looking for an active family home where there is someone around most of the day, school aged children would be fine, and she would also love another another doggy pal. She is quite small in stature and very quiet for a beagle. She is intelligent and is easily learning her manners in the home. and has learnt quickly that jumping up is not acceptable etc. She is so sweet natured that she just wants to please you, so she has responded well to postitive reinforcement trainingand this should be continued in her new home.
Lemon is 3 years old, neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated, and is being fostered in Deal, Kent.
