Louie: Jack Russell

Louie has become of our lifetime foster dogs and will stay under our care in his foster home.

We are looking for a very special home for our gorgeous little chap, Louie.

Poor Louie has sadly lost everything he has known and held dear since he was an 8 week old puppy when his owner passed away very suddenly. At 14 years old poor Louie was left home alone and at risk until we answered an appeal from a devastated family friend and offered Louie safety and sanctuary.

Initially bewildered on arrival Louie soon settled in and he now adores his new foster mum, he is proving to be such a loyal companion. He has had a through check up at our vets, had some mucky teeth removed and, with the exception of a mild heart murmur which is very common in small dogs of this age, he has been given a clean bill of health.

Although Louie has always lived as an only dog he is currently happy living with 3 other dogs in his foster home, and he has particularly bonded with one of our lifetime foster dogs, Aida. We would like to keep Louie local to the CT postcode area so we can offer ongoing support if necessary, in a calm home environment either as an only dog or with other small calm dogs. JRTs are notoriously long lived and we would like to see Louie settled again to enjoy his golden years. Please don’t dismiss Louie because of his age, this little man has a heart full of love to give, and will make a very loyal and loving companion.

Louie is 14 years young, neutered, microchipped, worm and flea treated and is currently being fostered in Dover, Kent.
