Mimi: Chihuahua

Mimi has now been * REHOMED*

Mimi is an active little wriggle monster who wants to have all your attention, demands constant tummy rubs and will follow you to the ends of the earth if you can accept her into your heart. Her energy belies her years, and we had to triple check her microchip before we could believe she was really born in 2006, she is the Joan Collins of the dog world!

On arrival to us it was clear she hadn’t seen a vet for a while, her teeth were rotten and painful for her to eat so she underwent a much needed dental and subsequently all her remaining teeth had to be removed, not that this worries her, she still looks beautiful, her breath is lovely and sweet and it is no longer painful for her to eat (and she’ll never have issues with her teeth again!). During her spay & dental the vet found a very tiny mammary lump, half the size of a grain of rice. It was due to be removed but she became unstable under the anaesthetic and it was decided to leave it there and bring her round. This tiny lump may be something, or it may be completely benign, but our vet advises that it is just kept an eye on and if it grows it can be removed at a later date (at our expense), he doesn’t feel it justifies putting her under anaesthetic again for now.

Mimi is looking for a very special home where she will be the centre of someone’s world, she is such a loving confident dog who wants to say hello to everyone. She is clean and quiet in the home and would like her special person to be around for much of the day and in return she will be completely devoted to you. She is currently carrying a little bit of excess weight, but it is coming off and we would like this continue in her new home.

12 years young Mimi is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated and being fostered in Deal, Kent.
