Olly: Shih Tzu

Olly has been REHOMED.

Olly is such a sweetie, he is a simple little fellow who doesn’t demand much, just happy to potter about with his favourite people and enjoy some exciting walks where he can sniff around to his hearts content.

Olly came into our care in poor condition and with extremely narrow nostrils which restricted his breathing, and even whilst resting his breathing was noisy and laboured. Since being in our care Olly has undergone a stenotic nares operation to widen his nostrils, and he now has a new lease of life! During his veterinary checks it has been discovered that he has limited vision, particularly in one eye, and which appears to be congenital, but he copes so well with this it is barely noticeable and certainly doesn’t bother him.

Olly is lovely with people, older children, and other dogs. He is very well behaved in the home, and loves his walks, his recall is excellent. He will be happy to be an only dog, and have all the attention to himself, but he dislikes being left alone overnight so an open door policy will suit him very well – particularly now we have improved his snoring!

Olly would prefer a calmer home without young children, and would suit a retired home where he can be a companion dog and have someone around most of the time.

Olly is 3 years old, neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated.
