Pepi: 15 year old Terrier

Pepi has now been REHOMED

Pepi is a beautiful oldie who was left at our vets to be put to sleep when her elderly mum had to go into care. Our vets refused to put her to sleep as she was in good health, and we were more than happy to give this lovely girl another chance.

Since coming into our care she has had dental treatment to clean and remove her rotten teeth, so she has wonderful fresh breath again now! She has undergone investigations on her rear hind leg and she has a old ruptured cruciate ligament injury which, due to her advanced years, our vet has advised not put her through the ordeal of surgery and a lengthy recovery period. Pepi manages just fine, and is in no pain, but she will only require short walks and her weight maintained to protect her joints.

Pepi is a calm friendly girl, she loves to potter regularly around the garden, adores her food and will nudge your leg when she is hungry,  and she curls up in her plush new bed for regular snoozes. She is extremely clean in the house and will ask to go out. She dislikes being picked up or cuddled, preferring all 4 paws on the floor, but she loves a good head rub and ear scratch. She is dog, cat and chicken friendly and is currently happily fostered in a multi animal household but we would like to find her a quiet home where someone can lavish time and affection on her.

Pepi is speyed, microchipped, flea and worm treated.
