After a poor start to life Dottie is enjoying her new found freedom, she really is a lovely natured girl, although she is very submissive and can still be timid in new circumstances and with new people, but she has slowly been learning how to be a proper dog in her foster home. She is proving to be an affectionate girl and is enjoying her home comforts and cuddles, her housetraining is coming on well.
Having never been walked on lead before, Dottie is taking it slowly with her lead training and this will need to be continued in her new home, so patience and understanding will be required as she continues to adjust to living in a home rather than a kennel. She is used to being with other dogs, so we would like to home her where there is at least one other resident calm confident dog in a home where someone is around for most of the day, although she will be happy to be left for a few hours in the company of another dog.
Please note that this breed does require regular grooming, so make sure you take these costs into consideration before submitting an application.
Dottie is 4 years old, neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated.
