Zizzi is now RESERVED.
Zizzi is an absolute dream of a girl who loves being around people and other dogs. She trots along perfectly on her lead and enjoys her walks, she is clean in the home and can usually be found having a snooze belly up! She is extremely playful and is very puppyish, she adores her toys and her favourite thing is having a good root about in the toy box deciding which toy is going to be her favourite for the day. She adores to be fussed and groomed and enjoys a good run around in the garden and on her walks.
Sadly this hasn’t always been the case for Zizzi, she has been in our care since November recovering as she was in an awful state on arrival, she had been found abandoned and served her 7 days unclaimed in the the pound. She was severely underweight, covered in sores and had very recently had a litter as she was still producing milk, as well as all this she was extremely depressed and looked very sorry for herself. We initially concentrated on healing her skin and getting some much needed weight on her as her milk eventually dried up and then she started to come back to life, firstly playing with the other dogs she loves, and then with toys. To see her now it is hard to imagine the dog that first arrived into our care, although she still gets unsure if she is not in the company of at least one other dog. She is only a young dog so she has recovered exceptionally well and now has the rest of her life to live as a much loved companion dog.
Zizzi would prefer a home where someone is at her beck & call for most of the day, she must have the company of at least one other playful neutered dog, and she can homed with school age children.
Please note that this breed requires regular grooming, so please take the time and costs into consideration before submitting an application.
Zizzi is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated and we estimate her age to be around 2 years old, possibly less.
