Safe with us: CPR’s lifetime promise

Charlie was part of a multi poodle rescue we carried out nearly 4 years ago, all the dogs were in a terrible state through neglect but they eventually recovered and all them went on to wonderful new homes, including Charlie who was adopted by a lovely lady in Thanet. After a couple of years Charlie was joined by Patch a lovely little blind Poodle, after his owner had passed away, and they all lived very happily together.

Earlier this month we were saddened to receive a call letting us know that Charlie and Patch’s owner had been taken very seriously ill and is currently being treated in a London hospital. The dogs had been kennelled so we immediately made arrangements to have the little pair brought in to one of our foster homes, and they have settled in very well. Charlie is as super as ever and little blind Patch doesn’t go anywhere without a toy in his mouth!

Everyone here at CPR sends love and best wishes to their owner and we hope for better news soon. In the meantime Charlie and Patch will remain in our care, at our expense, until we have a clearer picture of what their future may hold.

July 2017 update:

Sadly we were recently told Charlie & Patch’s owner has now passed away so they boys have now been signed over to us so we can find them another marvellous home. Their rehoming details can be found here.

Our thoughts are with their owner’s family and friends and everyone here at CPR send their deepest sympathies.
