Special case: Gypsy

Gypsy is a tiny little girl of approximately 12 -16 months old, who was passed to us after being rescued from a situation where she was tethered outside all day. It is clear that she has already been forced to have a litter, even at her very young age, and she is suffering from demodectic mange.

Gypsy is absolutely terrified of human contact, she shuts herself down and is completely compliant, so we are just letting her take her own time to learn to trust us. After just a week her skin is already starting to improve, and she loves the company of the other dogs in her foster home. It will take time to show her that not all human contact is something to be feared, but she’ll get there.

Gypsy is NOT currently looking for a new home but you can follow her progress on our Facebook page by clicking here.
