Bailey has been REHOMED.
A real cuddle bug, Bailey is very affectionate and adores ‘his’ people but he can be wary of strangers. Once he feels comfortable he will let his guard down and is very friendly, he has great manners on the lead when he is out and about. He is clean and quiet in the home and the car, and he likes to sit on a comfy lap and enjoys a good grooming session.
Like most Chihuahuas Bailey will need firm boundaries as he can show guarding tendencies over his owner with other dogs and some people, and he could easily be turned into a spoilt brat without boundaries but he responds well to positive reinforcement training and he has been very well behaved in his foster home with these in place.
We would like to see him in an active home, as he loves his walks and he would be able to be homed as an only dog or equally he would be happy to live with another calm dog, preferably female. He should be fine to live with a dog savvy cat. Although he is friendly with them, Bailey would prefer to live without children as he won’t tolerate them for long.
His coat is susceptible to tear staining but with a daily routine this will improve as his coat grows out.

All home offers will be subject to vetting and a home visit, and an adoption agreement and donation are required.
