CPR Covid-19 update

We hope all our adopters, supporters and volunteers are staying safe in these strange times. Rest assured Cinque Ports Rescue remains open to help dogs in need however our focus is currently on helping our dogs that have already been adopted but their owners have been taken ill and these dogs will be our priority at this current time. Here at Cinque Ports Rescue we don’t have a maximum age limit for adopters as we match dogs up with their perfect home and we have some very lovely older adopters matched with our oldies who we support in our local community, and it is these homes we are concentrating on supporting at this time. Although we can’t currently home visit to add new foster homes to our team (but we have really appreciated the offers) we would welcome previous adopters who have already passed our criteria to let us know if they would be able to take a short term foster dog in an emergency.

All the dogs currently in our care are safe and happy in their foster homes, where they will remain until the restrictions are lifted and it is safe to return to our usual procedures. Obviously most of our 2020 fundraising events planned have sadly had to be cancelled and without adoption donations coming in our income has been very much reduced, however our fundraising Facebook Group is very active and is a fun way to support us with a good chance of winning some fabulous items so please click on the link to join or search Cinque Ports Rescue Fundraising Group on Facebook. Otherwise you can still help us by ordering from our Amazon Wishlist or donating via PayPal or via Bank Transfer, full details can be found by clicking here.

To keep us smiling do please keep sending us updates and photos on your dogs and their lockdown escapades, we love hearing from all our adoptive families.

In the meantime keep safe, and please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you need us.

Lots of love from Eileen and the CPR Team xxx
