Welcome to Cinque Ports Rescue

Based in the beautiful heart of the Cinque Ports in Kent, registered charity Cinque Ports Rescue is a dedicated and compassionate team of experienced dog lovers who came together in 2011 with one shared goal: to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome smaller breed dogs in need across the South East Coast of England.

We are proud to be a foster-based rescue — our dogs are never placed in kennels. Instead, they are welcomed into loving home environments where they receive the care, structure, and understanding they need. This not only allows them to decompress and feel safe but also helps us truly get to know each dog’s personality, quirks, and needs so we can find the most suitable forever home.

Our dogs are fully vaccinated, neutered, and treated for parasites before adoption. While many have come from loving homes, others arrive with more difficult pasts — some are unclaimed strays, and others have suffered abandonment or neglect. Whatever their background, we are committed to giving each dog the second chance they deserve.
