Little Ivy is an absolutely adorable 15 week old puppy with bags of charm, and just as much personality to match. She’s a confident, bright young lady who knows her own mind, so we are looking for a home with previous dog experience who will enjoy continuing her training and helping her grow into the best version of herself.
Ivy is crate trained and settles well at night. She may have a couple of initial whimpers, but she quickly relaxes and sleeps through happily, currently sharing the room with her canine friend in her foster home. She has a great appetite, loves her food, and is already showing herself to be keen and willing to learn.
Her training is underway and going well, Ivy is practicing basic sits, learning to walk on the lead around the garden, and is beginning to understand waiting nicely before meals. Like most puppies, she is still having the odd house-training accident, but with positive reinforcement and consistency she is making steady progress and improving all the time.
Ivy will thrive in a home that understands puppies take time, patience and structure. In return, she will offer plenty of fun, affection and a loyal companion with a big character packed into a small, very cute package. We are looking for a home with dog experience with a secure garden and preferable a calm confident resident dog, as Ivy adores canine company. We expect the successful adoptive family to ensure that Ivy completes puppy training and remains well socialised.
Our adoption donation fee for a puppy is £500 and she will adopted on a neutering contract, so once she is old enough she will be spayed, at our expense, at our partnered vet practice. Please also bear in mind Ivy is a non-shedding breed mix, so will require regular grooming, so please consider this expense before applying.
