Beautiful Bear is a fluffy ball of affection and loves being brushed preferably whilst sitting on a comfy lap! He loves shaking his toys around, no squeaky toy is safe but will settle down to chew on a natural treat. Bear is great on the lead and enjoys his walks, he is very clever and has learned to sit on command and is currently working on ‘Paw’.
Bear is clean and quiet in the home and sleeps well overnight. He is happy to be left for short periods, but he is used to having someone around for most of the day. He bonds very firmly with his favourite people and has shown jealous tendencies to the resident male dog in his foster home.
He is sadly having to look for a new home as his elderly owner was unable to care for his needs. We are looking for an active home with a secure garden that will indulge Bear with lots of walks and attention. Bear would prefer to live as an only dog, although he could live with a calm female resident dog after a successful introduction.

All Cinque Ports Rescue dogs are neutered (or subject to a neutering agreement if not of appropriate age), microchipped, core vaccinated and up to date with parasite treatment. All have lifetime support and full backup, 4 weeks free insurance and an adoption pack including 5 kg of Natural Instinct food and nutrition information. Please note that we are currently only rehoming locally to the South East Kent area.
All home offers will be subject to vetting and a home visit, and an adoption agreement and donation of £320 is required.
