Clover: Labrador

Our beautiful Clover is now ready for her forever home after being found as a stray and serving her statutory 7 days before arriving in our care, where she made herself at home immediately and has proved to have a wonderful temperament. After coming in weighing a massive 39.4kg, she is currently at 35kg and is feeling much better and becoming more active as the weight is reducing, so her weight loss regime will need to be continued until she reaches her ideal weight.

Clover enjoys being in the company of other dogs of all sizes and is currently in foster in a multi-dog home, therefore we would like to her go with at least one other medium-sized to large dog, as she has started to enjoy her playtime with other dogs. Clover adores her walks however, she can no longer walk for too long due to her previous poor condition and her advancing years. She walks very well on the lead but can be strong at first however, she is learning commands to wait and her recall is coming along very well.

We are looking for an active home where someone is ideally home for most of the day, although Clover can be left for up to 4 hours if exercised first. Due to her bouncy nature and size, Clover can only live with children 10 years old and above.

During her routine veterinary treatment having been previously over-bred, it was discovered that Clover had mammary lumps and a partial mammary strip was carried out during her spay to remove them. It is extremely unlikely they will return, but a check-up is recommended at her annual vet appointments.
