Snowy: Bichon Frisé

Snowy has been ADOPTED.

Snowy is a super friendly boy, on the larger size for a Bichon Frisé, and he absolutely loves his walks, although he can be strong on the lead if he sees a cat. When he’s not out on a walk, he enjoys being out in the garden and spending time with his people at home, he’s a snuggle bug on the sofa and enjoys the occasional zoomies around the lounge. Snowy likes to sit on a chair near the window so he can see everything that is going on, and will nose nudge if he wants a treat or belly rub, or if he needs to go outside. Clean in the house and he travels well in the car, he does like to steal slippers and the occasional sock, but doesn’t chew them.

Snowy has been much loved in his previous home, but sadly his owner is no longer able to care for him so he has come into our care to find another loving home. Snowy suffers from separation anxiety, he doesn’t like to be left alone at home as he will bark and howl, his previous home popped him into Doggy Daycare twice a week where he got on well with all the dogs he met, so we are looking for a home where there is someone around for most of the day, and we think he would like a calm canine companion to help keep him company. He can be homed with school aged children but not with cats.

Snowy has been used to a very regular grooming routine, as he doesn’t particularly like being brushed, which is very important with a coat like his, he is groomed once every four weeks and has a bath two weeks after his groom, so please take these costs into consideration before submitting an application.
