Maisey is a gentle, affectionate 11-year-old long haired Chihuahua who is looking for a calm and loving home to spend her golden years. She has a wonderfully sweet nature and enjoys nothing more than being close to her people. Maisey is clean and quiet in the home, making her an easy companion, and while she doesn’t need much exercise, she does enjoy a short, gentle potter around the block for a good sniff, as well as access to a secure garden.
Maisey has a lifelong issue with her rear knees which gives her a slightly unusual stance. She has been thoroughly assessed by our vets and surgery is not recommended. Importantly, she is not in any discomfort, but she does feel more confident walking on carpet rather than hard flooring.
We are looking for a home where Maisey will have regular companionship, a garden to enjoy, and predominantly carpeted floors to help her feel secure. She could live happily either as the only pet or alongside other calm, small dogs, and she is also able to live with cats.
As a long haired Chihuahua, Maisey will need regular brushing and grooming to keep her coat in good condition.
Maisey is a truly lovely little dog who will make a devoted and undemanding companion in the right home.
