MARY: Bichon Frisé – REHOMED

Mary is a beautiful 2-year-old Bichon Frisé who recently joined us from a multi-dog household. When she first arrived, the world felt a little overwhelming and she was understandably shy, but with patience, reassurance, and a calm environment, she has begun to truly blossom.

Her foster mum has gently supported her confidence and the transformation has been wonderful to see. Mary now LOVES her routine 2-hour walks and is discovering that adventures, smells, and rustling leaves are all rather exciting! She is still building confidence on-lead, but she’s doing brilliantly and just needs a family willing to continue her positive journey.

Mary can still be a little cautious when meeting new people, but her gentle, genuine nature shines through, there is not a hint of malice in her, just uncertainty and a strong desire to be loved. Once she realises she’s safe, she is affectionate, snuggly, and incredibly loyal.

She could happily live as an only dog in a calm, patient home, or ideally with another friendly, confident dog who can help guide her and continue showing her how wonderful the world can be.

Mary is used to having someone around much of the day and thrives on company, although she can be left for a couple of hours without issue. She sleeps soundly in her own cosy bed in the bedroom and very much enjoys a cuddle on the sofa once she knows you’re her trusted person.

Mary is good with children, however we feel she would be happiest in a calmer but active home without very young children, somewhere steady, loving, and understanding of her sensitive start.

Mary needs:

A home willing to continue building her confidence.

A gentle, calm environment.

Regular walks and stimulation.

A kind, understanding family who will let her settle in her own time.

Preferably another friendly resident dog (not essential if the home is right).

Mary is an absolute treasure, soft, sweet, and slowly discovering that life can be full of comfort, kindness, and fun. With the right family, she is going to flourish into the wonderful little companion she is meant to be.

Mary is a non-moulting breed sand will require regular professional grooming to maintain her coat. please ensure you have considered the ongoing cost and commitment of grooming before submitting an application.

If you feel you can offer Mary the loving, patient forever home she deserves, we’d love to hear from you.

Kent & surrounding CT postcodes preferred.

Home checks, adoption fee & adoption criteria apply.

Mary is ready for her fresh start, could it be with you?
