Rupert: Cocker Spaniel

Rupert has now been REHOMED.

Our beautiful Cocker Spaniel Rupert was found straying and served his statutory 7 days without being claimed before coming into our care. He has settled in really well and changed from being a worried little chap into a very playful pup. He is an energetic boy and will need to have his energy levels met with daily exercise, luckily he walks incredibly well on the lead, and he has already been off lead in a secure park and loves playing fetch, which he is very good at. His recall has also proved to be very good, although his new family would need to make sure he is bonded and his recall 100% before any off-lead walking. This lad is very affectionate and will happily snuggle in the evening on the sofa, with his favourite people. Rupert can still be slightly nervous at first meet, but thrives in the company of other dogs of all sizes so a resident dog, that can match his playfulness, is a must for Rupert as he loves a good tousle in the garden. He has discovered the joy of toys in his foster home and loves nothing more than to chew these, and also anything else he can find laying around!

Rupert has been unfazed by any meets with cats out and about, although he has not been formally cat tested. He could also live happily with older children but due to his bouncy nature, we are not looking to re-home him with very young children.

2 year old Rupert is neutered, microchipped, flea and worm treated and is being fostered in Deal, Kent CT14. If you are interested in offering Rupert a home, please complete our online Adoption Form
