Skipper: Jack Russell Terrier

Skipper has found his new home.

Meet stunning little Skipper, he’s a right smasher! Estimated at between 9 months to a year old he is still very much a lovely little pupster. He was an unclaimed stray and, after serving his 7 statutory days, he has come into our care to find a new home.

His vet checks are now complete, we’ve had him neutered and he’s completed his full vaccination course, so he’s now ready to find his forever family. Ideally we are looking for a home that will take him to puppy classes, as he is very intelligent and knows his basic commands already. Skipper is clean in the house and good on the lead, he is also lovely and quiet in the car, happy to be crated in the car or secured with a seat belt. As you can see from the photos below, he is really loving his seaside walks and when he’s at home he loves to look out the window to see what is going on!

Currently in foster with a similar sized older female dog, he can be very playful but reacts well to positive instruction and correction. Skipper loves everyone, he is very affectionate and can be homed with school aged children in an active home where he will get lots of exercise and stimulation, as long as there is someone home regularly, as it’s not fair to leave him for too long. He does show signs of interest with small furries, so we would be looking for a home without cats, chickens and small furries etc. Skipper can be rehomed with another resident dog, or as an only dog as long as he get the stimulation and playtime he requires. Sadly, the poor lad has had his tail docked, but it wags just as fast!
