Terence is a charming terrier/poodle cross with a big heart and a cheeky streak. This little lad is now ready to find his forever home – could it be with you?
What You Need to Know:
- Very Affectionate: He loves attention and affection – cuddles, fuss, and all the belly rubs.
- Needs Boundaries: He’s clever and a little stubborn, so he’ll do best with someone who can provide structure and clear boundaries.
- Adult home only: Terence would like to be the focus in the house, and doesn’t enjoy the company of children.
- Crate Trained & House Trained: He’s clean, dry, and happy to settle in his crate.
- Dog Friendly (with a Dash of Sass): Terence enjoys the company of other friendly dogs but can be a bit temperamental, so careful introductions are a must.
Terence’s Favourite Things:
- FOOD – and lots of it if you’re not careful!
- Going for walks – he walks beautifully on the lead.
- Pottering in the garden (unless a hedgehog distracts him!), has perfected a commando crawl!
- Zooming around with dog friends and toys – he’s full of playful energy.
- Cosy naps – especially on the floor beside your bed.
- Baths, brushing, and even the hairdryer – he loves a bit of pampering.
- Finding a windowsill to make himself comfortable on.
- Showing off his new trick – he’s just started giving paw!
Other Notes:
- He usually comes when called from the garden – unless there’s a hedgehog on the scene!
- No reliable recall yet, but he understands “home” and heads to the gate in enclosed spaces.
- Seems unfazed by cats but hasn’t had close contact.
- He will need a secure garden with a 5-foot-high plus fence, as he can jump very high!

All Cinque Ports Rescue dogs are neutered (or subject to a neutering agreement if not of appropriate age), microchipped, core vaccinated and up to date with parasite treatment. Another resident dog in the home is required to be already neutered. All our dogs have lifetime support, full backup, and an adoption pack including 5 kg of Natural Instinct food and nutrition information. Please note that we are currently only rehoming locally to the South East Kent area.
All home offers will be subject to vetting and a home visit, and an adoption agreement and donation of £350 is required.
