This lovely chap is Jack. He adores people and his favourite pastime is to be lying on, or near, someone’s lap, he will sit at your feet and ask to be invited up! Very sadly, his owner passed away late last year and he has since lived with family, but he and the younger dog in the new home aren’t the best of friends although he does get on very well with the other older dogs so, in Jack’s best interests, we have been asked to find him another adoring person to call his own.
Jack loves a good walk, although he can be strong on the lead, but he has excellent recall and won’t stray far from you. He is also very good in the car, attached to a seat belt, where he will lie down and relax. Jack is very playful; he adores a tennis ball and will play fetch for hours. He is clean and quiet in the home. However, he has always been used to sleeping on his owner’s bed, and their family have been unable to get him out of this habit, but he luckily doesn’t snore too badly!
We are ideally looking for a home where, although he likes other dogs, he is the only resident dog so that he can have all the attention to himself. He is a loving dog and always wants to be where you are, so we would like to have someone who is home for the majority of the time. He is good with older children, but dislikes being picked up, so we are looking for a home without young children.

All Cinque Ports Rescue dogs are neutered (or subject to a neutering agreement if not of appropriate age), microchipped, core vaccinated and up to date with parasite treatment. Another resident dog in the home is required to be already neutered. All our dogs have lifetime support, full backup, and an adoption pack including 5 kg of Natural Instinct food and nutrition information.

All home offers will be subject to vetting and a home visit, and an adoption agreement and donation of £350 are required.
