Badger & Mr Todd have now been adopted.
This gorgeous pair of pups are incredibly bonded and are only apart for very short periods of time before they are looking for one another so we will be looking for a home where they can remain together. They have been extremely well loved and cared for in their previous home but are sadly looking for a new home due to their owners deteriorating health.
Badger is a Chihuahua/Chinese Crested crossbreed, he’s very handsome little chap with very good manners. He is very affectionate and loves to spend time curled up beside you or on your lap and can be very playful. He is used to being groomed and is clean and quiet in the home.
Mr Todd is a Lhasa/Shih Tzu mix, another very handsome little chap, very calm and cuddly. He eats well and is also happy to be groomed is clean and quiet in the house. Mr Todd is prone to an itchy coat but this is well managed with diet, after trial and error, with the easily obtained food he is on now. We will make sure his new home is fully aware of what triggers his itchiness.
They both really love children and would be great with visiting children but we would be looking for a quieter home where they get plenty of relaxation as this is what they have been used to. They are both friendly with other dogs and have integrated well with the resident dogs in their foster home, they could also be homed with dog savvy cats. Both of them travel very well and are clean and quiet in the car, on walks their off lead recall, as far as we have tested in the garden or secure field, is very good.
Badger is 6 years old and Mr Todd is 10 years, both are neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and parasite treated. Mr Todd is a non moulting breed mix so please take into consideration regular grooming and double adoption donation costs before applying to adopt them.
We really can’t fault either of them, they have been an absolute pleasure to look after and whomever adopts these two certainly won’t regret their decision.

All Cinque Ports Rescue dogs are neutered (or subject to a neutering agreement if not of appropriate age), microchipped, core vaccinated and up to date with parasite treatment. Please note that we are currently only rehoming locally to the South East Kent area. All have life time support and full backup, 4 weeks free insurance and an adoption pack including 5 kg of Natural Instinct food and nutrition information.
All home offers will be subject to vetting and a home visit, and an adoption agreement and donation are required.
