Jessie has now been REHOMED.
Jessie is a friendly girl, she has a wonderful temperament and is very playful and eager to please. She was picked up as a stray and has clearly been used for breeding and then dumped, but she has totally embraced her new life and being in a home environment. We don’t believe she was shown much kindness in the past as she will cower when she is unsure, however every day she is becoming more and more confident and she absolutely adores her toys, collecting them up and taking them into her bed. She is well behaved and loves being out and about, although she is still very strong on the lead so would be an ideal candidate for some further lead training, and her recall is currently zero, so a long line is a must.
Jessie is fantastic with other dogs and older children, and will make a great family companion, so we are looking for an energetic family, with children of secondary school age, and where there is someone around for the majority of the day. Unfortunately Jessie would be unable to live with cats or small furry animals as she has quite a strong prey drive, but she does like other dogs and is learning to love and trust humans, she paddles her little feet when she is excited and her whole back end wags when she is happy!

All Cinque Ports Rescue dogs are neutered (or subject to a neutering agreement if not of appropriate age), microchipped, core vaccinated and up to date with parasite treatment. Please note that we are currently only rehoming locally to the South East Kent area. All have life time support and full backup, 4 weeks free insurance and an adoption pack including 5 kg of Natural Instinct food and nutrition information.
All home offers will be subject to vetting and a home visit, and an adoption agreement and donation are required.
