Poppy has now been REHOMED.
Poppy is an affectionate and lively dog, she loves the company of people and likes nothing better than snuggling up on the sofa, and she does enjoy a good bark at other animals on the TV. She very much enjoys her walks and is quite strong on the lead, and has been used to a good half hour walk a day in her previous home. Unfortunately her owner’s working hours have increased recently and Poppy isn’t happy being left for long periods of time, so she has come into our care to find another loving new home. Poppy prefers to be an only dog in the home, and being the sole focus of a devoted owner’s attention, she doesn’t like cats either so a home without any other animals would be best for her. She would need a home where there is someone around for most of the day, and she is fine with visiting children.
Please note that that, as a non moulting breed, Poppy does require very regular grooming which she enjoys, so make sure you take this into consideration before submitting an application.

All Cinque Ports Rescue dogs are neutered (or subject to a neutering agreement if not of appropriate age), microchipped, core vaccinated and up to date with parasite treatment. All have life time support and full backup and an adoption pack including 5 kg of Natural Instinct food and nutrition information.
All home offers will be subject to vetting and a home visit, and an adoption agreement and donation are required.
