Sebastian (Frank): Pug

Sebastian has now been REHOMED.

Sebastian is a young fit Pug who is very active and enjoys his walks, he loves everyone and all the attention he attracts when he is out and about. He is a happy little chap who very much likes to be around people and he is friendly with other dogs and dog savvy cats. In his foster home he has earned the nickname ‘Frank’ and this is what he now answers to!

Sebastian is crate trained, fantastic in the car (although he gets nervous in tunnels) and great on-lead, however his recall is practically non-existent so a long line on a walk is crucial unless he is walked in a secure area. He is clean and quiet in the home and he loves his snuffle mat which will be re-homed with him! He is a dog that very much likes routine and we would like to see him in a home where he isn’t left for long periods, he bonds very firmly to his people and likes to be near them as much as possible. He can be homed with children over 8 years old and could be homed either with a resident playful dog or as an only dog as long as he gets frequent playtimes in his new home. You will need to have a secure garden boundary as Sebastian will barge through any gaps he can find to explore the outside world!

Sebastian initially had some gastric issues on arrival into our care and because he was picked up as a stray, and therefore we don’t have any history on him, this may have been be due to his previous lack of care and/or the stress of his stray situation and subsequent new environments in a short period of time. He is fully recovered now and was signed off by the RVC QM Hospital for Animals last week.
