Lady & Zuma came into the rescue after being surrendered by their loving owner due to a massive change in their life.

They are both incrediably affectionate and love nothing more than a nice snuggle on the sofa. Both dogs walk very well on the lead and enjoy daily walks, they even have recall! They will initially bark at other dogs out of excitement. Zuma has proved the more social out of the 2, with lady taking her time, due to a previous incident.

Both dogs as your typical dachshund, they love the sound of their own voice! However their foster carer has been doing positive reinforcement work to help with this, which is proving successful and they are very intelligent and keen to learn.

We are looking for a home with a secure garden where there is someone around for most of the day, they can live with another calm resident dog. They have lived with some livestock in their previous home.

Lady and Zuma are siblings and both 1 year old.

All Cinque Ports Rescue dogs are neutered (or subject to a neutering agreement if not of appropriate age), microchipped, core vaccinated and up to date with parasite treatment.  All have lifetime support and full backup, and an adoption pack including 5 kg of Natural Instinct food and nutrition information. Please note that we are currently only rehoming locally to the South East Kent area.

All home offers will be subject to vetting and a home visit, and an adoption agreement and donation of £320 per dog is required.
