Whisky: Yorkshire Terrier

Whisky is RESERVED.

Whisky is a lovely active Yorkie who was originally rehomed by us in 2017 but has been returned sadly due to his owners’ declining health. He has settled well into his foster home and is quiet and clean in the house and great with other dogs and people of all ages, enjoys his home comforts, but lives for his walkies time. He can be shy when he first meets people but soon comes around, particularly when the leads come out. When he came into our care originally he had very bad teeth, so they have all been removed and it doesn’t bother him in the least, the only giveaway is that his tongue will poke out, but that only adds to his charm!

He could live with other animals, or as an only dog if someone was at home most of the time. He bonds very firmly and would make a very loyal companion. We are looking for an active home who like going for lots of walks, and he would be absolutely fine in a family home with older children.

Whisky is 10 years old, neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated. As a non moulting breed, please take into consideration regular grooming costs before applying to adopt him.

If you are interested in offering Whisky a home, please complete our online Adoption Form.

We are currently experiencing a high volume of applications for our dogs and are unable to respond to any applications that don’t fit our rehoming criteria for Whisky.

All Cinque Ports Rescue dogs are neutered (or subject to a neutering agreement if not of appropriate age), microchipped, core vaccinated and up to date with parasite treatment. They all have lifetime support and full backup, 4 weeks free insurance and an adoption pack including 5 kg of Natural Instinct food and nutrition information. We currently only re-home within the CT postcode areas unless otherwise stated in our homing adverts.

All home offers will be subject to vetting and a home visit, and an adoption agreement and donation of £220 is required.
