Calling all Chihuahua lovers! Our lovely Trixie is still waiting for her new family to find her. She has settled wonderfully in her foster home but it really is time for her to find a forever home of her own. Picked up as an unclaimed stray, she was initially quite standoffish, however treat her with respect and she will soon come round, particularly if treats are involved!
Trixie adores her walks and she can be quite playful in the home. She is clean in the house and settles herself down quietly at night. She adores the garden and loves running around, particularly if she spots a squirrel.
Like most Chihuahuas, Trixie will need firm boundaries, as she could easily learn to rule the roost! She responds well to positive reinforcement training and has been very well behaved in her foster home with these in place.
Trixie would be able to be homed as an only dog, or could live with another friendly passive dog. She can be left for a few hours but does like to have company. We will not be homing Trixie with young children but teenagers and over will be fine.

All Cinque Ports Rescue dogs are neutered (or subject to a neutering agreement if not of appropriate age), microchipped, core vaccinated and up to date with parasite treatment. All have life time support and full backup, 4 weeks free insurance and an adoption pack including 5 kg of Natural Instinct food and nutrition information. Please note that we are currently only rehoming locally to the South East Kent area.
All home offers will be subject to vetting and a home visit, and an adoption agreement and donation of £320 is required.
