Energetic Lolly has been an absolute pleasure to care for during our time with us, she is such a happy affectionate dog and extremely playful and great with other dogs. Lolly needs to run and stretch her legs, so an active home with a decent size secure garden is a must, as well as regular walks where she can zoom around, she is very fast! She is also extremely agile, and can jump into your arms, so she may be a good candidate for a fun pastime together, such as agility or further obedience training.
Lolly is good on the lead, although needs a bit more confidence building on busy walks with traffic. Once bonded, she is also very good off lead. She is quiet and clean in the home, and enjoys being fussed over and groomed, she has the most beautifully expressive eyes and will use them to good effect! Despite having been bred once in her previous home, she is still very puppyish and loves to play with people, dogs and toys, alike.
Typical of the breed traits, she is wary of newcomers to the home, but this has improved immensely since being in her foster home; once she has made friends she is exceptionally loyal and loving. Lolly particularly seems to prefer men, choosing them for a cuddle over women, if there’s an option! Lolly loves to play with other dogs, but could be homed as an only dog if there is someone around for most of the day to keep her occupied. With another resident playful dog in the home, she could be left for up to 4 hours a day. Although not cat tested, due to her lovely nature we believe she would be fine to live with dog savvy cats.

Please note that Powderpuff’s require regular brushing and grooming as they have non-shedding hair, so please take these costs into consideration before submitting an application.
All Cinque Ports Rescue dogs are neutered (or subject to a neutering agreement if not of appropriate age), microchipped, core vaccinated and up to date with parasite treatment. All have life time support and full backup, 4 weeks free insurance and an adoption pack including 5 kg of Natural Instinct food and nutrition information.
All home offers will be subject to vetting and a home visit, and an adoption agreement and donation are required.
