Monty: Cavachon

Monty is staying with us permanently as a sanctuary dog.

This gorgeous little oldie is 14 year old Monty and, for genuine reasons and through no fault of his own, he is looking for someone to love him for the rest of his days in a comfortable quiet home, preferably with a garden to potter about in and a loving person to snuggle up with who will take him for a little trot out every day as he still loves his walks. Monty has had a fully health check and is typical of a dog his age, he has very little sight but gets around well once he knows his environment. His temperament is delightful and he is an absolute pleasure to have around, his only stipulation is that he wants to sleep in the same room as his favourite person at night. Monty can live with other small calm dogs and would be fine with a friendly dog savvy cat.

Due to Monty’s age we will cover any veterinary treatment required and we will not require a full adoption donation but, as a non-moulting breed, please take into consideration regular grooming before applying to adopt Monty.

If you are interested in offering 14 year old Monty a home, please complete our online Adoption Form.

All Cinque Ports Rescue dogs are neutered (or subject to a neutering agreement if not of appropriate age), microchipped, core vaccinated and up to date with parasite treatment. Please note that we are currently only rehoming locally to the South East Kent area. All have life time support and full backup, 4 weeks free insurance and an adoption pack including 5 kg of Natural Instinct food and nutrition information.

All home offers will be subject to vetting and a home visit, and an adoption agreement and donation are required.

Cinque Ports Rescue is run purely by volunteers so please be aware that your application may not be responded to immediately. Thank you for your patience.
